By accessing this website, registering for an account, or purchasing a ticket/product from us, we assume you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. Do not continue to use Frogging Nook if you do not agree to all the terms and conditions stated on this page.
1. The Platform and Services
Frogging Nook is a crochet community based in Nepal. We provide online and offline crochet workshops, meetups, crochet-alongs, free and paid patterns, community networking, and a retail shop for crochet tools and yarns.
2. User Accounts and Registration
- If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to make any purchases.
- When creating a profile, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in disruptive/abusive behavior within the community.
3. Workshops, Meetups, and Events
- Tickets for workshops and meetups are priced in Nepalese Rupees (NPR). Your seat is only confirmed once full payment is received.
- If you need to cancel your attendance, you must notify us at least 48 hours prior to the event for a full or partial refund.
- Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the event are non-refundable.
- If Frogging Nook cancels or reschedules an event, you will be offered a full refund or a transfer to a future event.
4. The Nook Shop
- We strive to display the colors and textures of yarns, hooks, and kits as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display of any color will be perfectly accurate.
- Physical goods purchased from The Nook Shop are subject to our shipping and return as per Customer Protection Law of Nepal.
- Purchases of digital patterns or access to Tutorial Nook/Workshop Nook online classes are final and non-refundable due to the nature of digital goods.
5. Intellectual Property
- Unless otherwise stated, Frogging Nook and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on the website.
- Free and paid patterns provided by Frogging Nook are for personal use only. You may sell finished items made from our patterns (provided you credit Frogging Nook as the designer), but you may not reproduce, distribute, translate, or sell the actual pattern or tutorial content.
6. User-Generated Content & Community Guidelines
Frogging Nook allows users to share Works in Progress, comments, and profile information.
- You grant Frogging Nook a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your shared content on our website and social media channels.
- We are a welcoming, inclusive space. Any harassment, hate speech, spamming, or sharing of explicit content within the community forums, reviews, or physical meetups will result in an immediate ban.
7. Content Posted on the Website
- You retain all ownership rights to the text, images, comments, patterns, or other materials you post, upload, or share on Frogging Nook (collectively, “User Content”). We do not claim ownership over your original work.
- By posting User Content to the platform, you grant Frogging Nook a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform that User Content in connection with the platform and our broader business operations. This includes using your photos or WIP updates for marketing, promotional materials, and social media channels.
