We make room for crocheters in Nepal.

Frogging Nook is a community, not a product. Workshops, meetups, and crochet-alongs across Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur — for first-timers, seasoned makers, and everyone between.

Materials on us

The thing about crochet is you can always rip it back. There's no wasted yarn, no ruined afternoon — just another row ahead of you. That's the spirit we build this community around.

What we stand for

Beginner-first

Nobody starts a hook already knowing. Our workshops are paced so your first row feels as welcome as your hundredth.

Community before craft

We host makers, not customers. Every session is built around showing up, sitting together, and leaving with a friend.

Rotating studios

Sessions move between studios, cafés, and partner spaces across Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur — so there's always one near you.

Low-pressure, high-care

No perfectionism, no grading. Frogging — ripping back stitches — is the whole point. Mess up, start again, get better.

A maker's story

“I walked in not knowing a single stitch. Four sessions in, I finished my first scarf. But honestly, the part I come back for is the chiya and the people.”

Anisha Shrestha
Maker, Lalitpur
From our makers

“Went in shy, left with three new friends and a half-finished beanie.”

Pratik Maharjan
Kathmandu

“My daughter and I took a workshop together. It's our thing now.”

Sushma Gurung

“The meetups are gentle — no performance, just yarn and good conversation.”

Bibek Tamang

“Finally a craft space that didn't make me feel like a beginner for being a beginner.”

Reema Bhattarai

“I've bought yarn I didn't need from every single meetup. Worth it.”
